The Woodlands Farmers Market
Every Saturday in September | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
Grogan’s Mill Shopping Center | 7 Switchbud Place, The Woodlands
Start your weekend with local produce, baked goods, artisan products and other fresh finds. The market is held rain or shine, and its proceeds help support community programs.

Labor Day Festival at Waterway Square
Sunday, September 6 | 5:00–9:00 PM
Waterway Square | 31 Waterway Square Place, The Woodlands
Celebrate the end of summer with live music, children’s activities, face painting, balloon art, strolling entertainment, pie-eating contests and a fireworks finale. Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and coolers without glass containers.

Free Fitness Classes at City Place
Various dates throughout September
City Place Plaza | 1250 Lake Plaza Drive, Spring
City Place is hosting a variety of outdoor fitness activities throughout the month, including Zumba, strength and sculpt classes, hip-hop HIIT and other opportunities to get moving outside. Check the calendar for individual dates, times and registration details.

Second Saturday at the Depot
Saturday, September 12 | 5:00–9:00 PM
Tomball Depot Plaza | 201 S. Elm Street, Tomball
Pack your lawn chairs, blankets and favorite snacks for a free family movie night under the stars. September’s featured movie is Puss in Boots. Arrive early to enjoy family-friendly activities before the movie begins around dusk.
Admission and parking are free.
Pink Strong Breast Cancer Walk
Saturday, September 12 | Activities begin at 9:00 AM
Margaritaville Lake Resort | Lake Conroe
This free, family-friendly gathering honors survivors, remembers those who have been lost and supports local breast cancer patients. The morning includes refreshments, music, resource tables, contests and a short, comfortably paced walk beginning at 10:15 AM.
Concert in the Park
Sundays beginning September 13 | 5:30–7:30 PM
Northshore Park | 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands
Bring a blanket, lawn chairs and a cooler for free live music by local and regional performers. The September schedule includes Tracy Perez on September 13, Texas Sundown Band on September 20 and Lawn Mower Band on September 27. Leashed pets are welcome, and glass containers are prohibited.

Heart of Glass Opening Reception
Thursday, September 17 | 6:00–8:00 PM
The Woodlands Arts Council | 9450 Grogan’s Mill Road, Suite 160
Enjoy an evening of art, conversation and community at the opening reception for Heart of Glass. The exhibition celebrates three artists from the same family and explores their distinct approaches to glassmaking.
Shootout Hunger
Friday, September 18
Blackwood Sporting Co. | Conroe
Montgomery County Food Bank’s annual sporting clays tournament brings the community together to raise awareness and funds for neighbors experiencing hunger. Participants of all experience levels are welcome to form a team and support the Food Bank’s mission.

GroovFest ’26
Saturday, September 26 | 11:00 AM–5:00 PM
Tomball Depot Plaza | 201 S. Elm Street, Tomball
Step back in time for a celebration of retro fun and nostalgia. GroovFest will feature live music, vintage vehicles, interactive photo opportunities, local vendors, festival food and activities for children.

The Woodlands Fine Craft, Art & Design Show
Saturday, September 26 | 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
Sunday, September 27 | 11:00 AM–4:00 PM
The Woodlands Waterway Marriott | 1601 Lake Robbins Drive
Explore an indoor collection of original works from juried artists and designers from across the country. The show will feature jewelry, wearable design, art, sculpture, ceramics, glass, woodwork, home décor, live music and opportunities to meet the makers.
